Architect’s IPD Team

The Architect’s IPD Team is responsible for leading the design process and team. The design team is a large group of firms and people with a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing options for how the building will look on the inside and outside
  • Developing plans for how the building will fit in with the existing hospital campus
  • Leading our clinical user groups through Kaizen Workshops to develop building and departmental layouts
  • Ensuring that all building systems are in place – everything from air conditioning to emergency power to the data network

As the Owner’s IPD Team makes decisions, the Architect’s IPD Team is responsible for documenting them and translating those needs into information for the Construction IPD Team.
